Waukegan Park District’s new 135 acre Outdoor Sports Complex will provide numerous recreation opportunities for the residents of Waukegan. The complex will also become the home to Robert Morris College's new football and soccer programs. The Championship Field will have synthetic turf, grandstands for over 2,000 spectators and a 12,000 SF stadium support building with a ticket office, concessions, public restrooms, team locker rooms, training rooms, meeting room and coaches offices. Other amenities will include trails/pathways, soccer fields, a baseball complex with a concession/restroom building, remote restrooms, playgrounds, splashpads, and ample parking. Site development improvements include development includes a new pond, bridges, wetland mitigation and landscaping.
